Newark—Henry N. Sapp, Sr., , died Monday (July 31, 2017) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

A graveside funeral service will be held at noon on Friday (August 11^th) at the Newark Cemetery, North Main Street, Newark.

Henry was born March 9, 1926 in Newark, the son of the late Newton and Rose Petrus Sapp. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Henry was a machine operator at Fold-Pac, retiring after 47 years.

He is survived by his daughter Nancy (Rich Hess) Sapp of Crystal River, FL and a son Thomas Sapp of Newark; his special granddaughter April Patterson, his care giver and three other grandchildren, Joaeph Sapp, Koty Hess and Zacri Hess; three great grandchildren; his siblings Fred, Richard, Robert and Lorraine Sapp; many nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his wife Beatrice in 2009; his son Henry Jr. , daughter Debbie Sieling; siblings, Carmella Fisher, Isabella Sapp, Rose Sapp, Jane Vitaro, Mary Clark, Daniel, Samuel, Louis, Tom and Frank Sapp.. www.murphyandsonsfuneralhome.com
