Lyons/Newark—Martha R. Anderson, 92, died Monday (November 6, 2017) at the Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.

All funeral services will be private with burial in Newark Cemetery.

Memorials, in her name, may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, New York 14489.

Martha was born April 12, 1925 in Newark, the daughter of Paul and Charlotte Wiser Reeves. She did secretarial work for Bloomer Brothers and retired from the Newark State School where she had worked for many years.

She graduated from Newark High School, Class of 1942. Martha was a member of the Park Presbyterian Church and a founding member of the Way-Out Saddle Club.

She is survived by her daughter Judy Anderson of Lyons; many nieces and nephews. Martha was predeceased by seven siblings, Elsie Nichols, Florence Wusneck, Carl, Raymond, John, Roger Reeves and Charlotte Reeves.
