When I first started working at IEC, I was switched to evening shift and frequently needed parts from the stockroom to support the production line I was working on.

In my first attempt to retrieve parts, I met two people also working evening shift in the stockroom. The first person I interacted with would not talk to me, tell me her name, and appeared to be in the middle of a psychotic breakdown.

The second person I met was Sandy, and she had a gift for putting people at ease. She helped me numerous times, displayed a enthusiasim for positive behavior, and through out the next eight years could be counted on to help those in need.

Sandy will sorely missed and made the world a better place by being in it.
