Aldo S. Renzi
Newark –Aldo S. Renzi, 90, died Tuesday (December 15, 2009) at the House of John in Clifton Springs.
Friends may call 11 - 12 A.M. on Saturday (December 26th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home.
Memorials in his name may be made to the House of John, 14 Spring Street, Clifton Springs, New York 14432.
Mr. Renzi was born in Lyons on September 14, 1919, the son of Samuel and Susan Luciano Renzi. He served in the US Marine Corp during World War II, spending over two years in the Asiatic Pacific Area. Aldo had lived in Belle Glade, Florida until four years ago when he moved to Newark. He had been an airplane mechanic for Pan Am Airlines in Miami. He was a member of the American Legion and Moose Club in Belle Glade, Florida. Aldo was an avid bowler and loved to fish on Lake Okeechobee while in Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rose Romanelli Iocco Renzi, a daughter Joanna (Johnny) Walker of Monterey, TN, a stepson Robert (Pam) Iocco of Newark, three grandchildren Erin, Emily and Elliot Iocco, many nieces and nephews. Aldo was predeceased by his first wife Helen in 1968 and seven siblings.
