Newark---Alec G. Seager, 32, passed away at his home in Newark on Monday, October 3, 2022

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark, NY. Burial will be in the Seager Family Cemetery in Naples, NY.

Alec was born in Newark, NY on November 22, 1989 the son of Darrin and Kim Darrow Seager. He was a graduate of Newark Senior High School, Class of 2007. Alec enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and achieved the rank of Corporal. He owned and operated ENC Appliance Repair in North Carolina and was planning on continuing that business in New York. Music was one of his favorite things, especially playing guitar and drums.

Alec is survived by his wife Kayleigh Seager; his parents Darrin (Robyn) Seager and Kim (Gordon) Francis; two children Jackson and Lydia Seager; four step children Jordon, Reese, Sophia and Mila; two brothers Nathan and Brendan Seager; a sister Mary Francis; grand mother Donna Seager; grandfather Richard Darrow. He was predeceased by a daughter Nora Seager; grandmother Shirley Darrow; grandfather Gary Seager.
