Rochester-Alice J. Ingram, 95, passed on Monday, February 5, 2024, at St. John’s Home in Rochester.

     Friends are in invited to call on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, from 11 – 1 PM at Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark, NY. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

      Mrs. Ingram was born in Geneseo, on March 12, 1928, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Pauline Theil Johnson. She earned her bachelor’s degree in design from R.I.T. Alice was a secretary at R.I.T. Department of Engineering. She was a member of the Outing Club at R.I.T. Alice was so sweet, so loved and so loving, she was proud of her work at RIT. The Kids considered her an honorary mom. She was a rebel who tried to change things from the inside. Most of all se was love.  She loved the world and the world loved her.

     Alice is survived by a son Alan (Cheryl) Ingram of Newark; a daughter Eileen Monaghan of Rochester; five grandchildren Michelle Ingram, Matthew (Crystal) Ingram, Lucas (Julia) McCann, Maxwell Monaghan and Dillon Tack; six great grandchildren.
