Newark"Alma R. Tellier, 88, died on Sunday (October 15, 2006) at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Friends may call from 2-4 P.M. on Wednesday (October 18th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral Services will follow at 4 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Huron Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road, Rochester, New York 14620.

Mrs. Tellier was born on October 15, 1918, in Wolcott, the daughter of Ira and Lottie Greene Wilkinson. She helped her husband in their businesses, the Easy Wash Launderette and the Tire Spot in Newark. Alma also had been a bookkeeper for the Town of Arcadia for several years.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years Clyde, a son Thomas (Mary) of Wolcott, four daughters Linda (Eldon) Clement of Phelps, Patricia (Steve) Goulette of Newark, Karen (Mike) Keeley of Lyons, and Kathleen Gibson of Williamson; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; a brother Donald (Lena) Wilkinson of Three Mile Bay, NY, a brother-in-law Arthur Tellier of Rochester, several nieces and nephews. Alma was predeceased by two sisters Elva Foster and Kathleen Barber.
