Anne Lis

Anne Marie (Bailey) Lis, 76, of Williamson, NY passed on July 30, 2022.  Born August 28, 1945 in Utica, NY to Maurice & Hilda (Cruikshank) Bailey, she was raised in Whitesboro, NY.  Anne married Gerald (Jerry) Lis on November 1, 1965.  She planted roots in Williamson, NY in June 1976.  Anne was a devoted mother who served her family and community in numerous activities involving her four children.  Anne is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerald (Jerry) Thomas Lis Sr., four children: David (Heidi) Lis, Gerald Thomas Lis Jr., Debbie (Garry) Schulter & Eileen (Scott) Trigg. Six Grandchildren & Seven Great-Grandchildren.  Also survived by sister: Barbie (Pete) Rawleigh, brother John (Maggie) Bailey, sister-in-laws: Barb (Dudley) Bailey, Francine (Bill) Fritton, numerous cousins, niece, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Anne was preceded in death by parents: Maurice (Cookie) & Hilda (Cruikshank) Bailey, brothers: Richard Bailey, Dudley (Barb) Bailey.  Anne will be greatly missed for her fun loving spirit, her endless creativity, crafting and memory making. Her legacy will live on through her handmade Christmas ornaments she treasured making with and for those she loved.   Services will be on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Michael’s Church 401 S Main St. Newark, NY 14513 with a Celebration of Life gathering immediately after at The American Legion 200 E Union St. Newark, NY 14513.
