August “Gus” Dobish
Newark— A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 10 A.M. (May 29th) at St. Michael’s Church, 401 South Main Street, Newark with Father Felix Dalimpuo officiating. He died March 29, 2010 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania at the age of 72. Gus formerly lived in Newark where he worked as a pharmacist and was active in many community and civic activities.
He is survived by his wife Nancie, daughters Deborah Ebanks and Katherine (husband Chris) Childs of Newark, Dr. Heidi (husband Donald Patchell) Dobish of Shepherdstown, W.Va., his former wife Elsbeth “Beth Dobish” Gerum; grandchildren Aliana and Elijah Ebanks, Sarah, Evelyn and Liam Childs, Mabel Rose and Max Dobish Patchell; two brothers Herbert (Rose) Brown of Fl. and Raymond Brown of Va. Gus was predeceased by a son Max Dobish and grandson Max Childs
