Newark—Barbara L. Harris, 65, died Monday (August 1, 2011) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

            A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday (August 6^th) at the Fairville Cemetery.

            Memorials in her name may be made to National Kidney Foundation of Upstate NY, 15 Prince Street, Rochester 14607.

            Mrs. Harris was born September 15, 1945 in Rochester, the daughter of the late Donald and June Croll Revelle.  She graduated from Wayne Central High School in 1963.  Barbara then attended nursing school for three years at Genesee Hospital in Rochester, graduating as an L.P.N.  For 37 years, she worked as a nurse at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, Myers Community Hospital in Sodus, Wayne County Nursing Home, Newark Manor Nursing Home and as substitute nurse at several area schools.  Barb liked being with family and friends, outdoors, boating, traveling and music.  She was a very social, loving, caring person who went out of her way to help, console or listen to people.  She will be greatly missed by all.           

            She is survived by her husband Kenneth; daughter Robin (James) Michael; daughter-in-law Jodie Harris, grandchildren David (Krystal) Granger, Benjamin Granger, Tiffiny Murray and Justin Crane; great granddaughters Alexa and Zoe Granger; brothers Donald (Anne) Revelle, David (Peggy) Revelle; sisters Donna (Bill) Kelley and Dorothy (Bob) Brutko.
