Newark"Brenda J. Grabenstatter, 48, died Friday (April 20, 2007) at Rochester General Hospital.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday (April 23rd) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at 11 A.M on Tuesday (April 24th) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

Mrs. Grabenstatter was born March 24, 1959 in Red Creek, the daughter of Alfred and Norma DeVoll Burlew. She had worked at Hill Haven Nursing Home in Webster and was a home health aide for LifeTime Care in Newark. Most recently, she was doing private duty care.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Gerald, children Peter DiPaul of Rochester, Gerald Jr. and Carol at home; her father Alfred Burlew of Lyons and mother Norma (George) Stiles of Brighton, her siblings Barbara (James) DuBois of Sodus, Sharon (Robert) Sanderson of Henderson Harbor, Michael Burlew of Sodus and Jackie (Patrick) O'Connell of Brighton, several nieces and nephews.
