Newark–Carl W. Foreman, 49, went into the arms of his beloved Savior on Sunday (November 28, 2010) at the Clifton Springs Hospital
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday (December 4, 2010) at the Assembly of God Church, Pre-Emption Road, Geneva. Following the service, family and friends are invited to a time of fellowship and lunch in the church hall. Burial will be in Byron Cemetery.
Memorials, in his name, may be made the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road N., Rochester, New York 14609.
Mr. Foreman was born on June 9, 1961 in Batavia, the son of Carl Sr. and Marie Heaton-Foreman. He grew up in Interlaken and graduated from South Seneca High School. He served four years in the army first being stationed in Hawaii, trained as an equipment engineer and fuel handling specialist and then was stationed in Korea for Team Spirit I. Carl was one to give his all too any endeavor. It was his fellow employees his last year of his life who enabled him to feel complete, accomplished and for the most part loved; helping him get through these final months. Carl was known for his kindness, good nature and especially his love of God and people.
Carl tried his hand as interstate truck driver, ran a printing press, learned to install furnaces and air conditioners in homes but his favorite job was joining the custodial team at the Lyons Central School System.
Carl is survived by his wife of 4 years Maureen Sheehe Foreman of Newark, his parents of Interlaken, two brothers James (Gloria) Foreman of Fayette, Ernest Foreman of Geneva, one sister Christina Foreman of Ithaca, three nephews Joshua, Joseph Foreman and Walter Hagen, two nieces Melissa Austin and Tara Bahmann, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
