Dale Ameele
Newark—Dale Ameele, 62, died on Friday (October 21, 2016) at the Rochester General Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. on Thursday (October 27th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. His funeral service will immediately follow at 7 P.M.
Dale was born on September 5, 1954 in Newark, the son of Nelson and Virginia VanHoute Ameele. He was a 1974 graduate of Newark High School, Dale was a devoted employee of Concord Ford where he was the parts manager for many years. Dale loved to fish. He was a member of the Arcadia Bass Anglers and the Tuesday Night Wide Waters League. He was a Buffalo Bills fan, enjoyed music and cooking for his family. Dale was a practical joker, he loved to laugh and make people laugh.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marjorie Gansz Ameele; his children Jennifer (Sam Kemp) of Lyons, Michael of Waterloo and Brian (Paige) of Newark; his brother Mark (Barbara) Ameele of Newark; Aunt Dolores Bryant, a nephew and two nieces, several cousins; a extended family and many many good friends. Predeceased by his parents Nelson and Virginia Ameele, his stepfather Orville Tack and his sister Sharon Proseus
