Phelps/Newark "David C. Frey, 56, on Thursday (April 6, 2006) at his home in Phelps.

Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. on Sunday (April 9th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday (April 10th) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Phelps.

Mr. Frey was born July 13, 1949, in Rome, New York the son of Floyd and Edith Foster Frey. He worked at Garlock, Inc. in Palmyra for 34 years as a press operator, just retiring this year. David was a member of the Oasis of Hope, Assembly of God Church in Palmyra.

He is survived by his life partner Marlene Niswonger, three daughters April (David) Granger of Lock Berlin, Jessica Mukey of Lyons, Katelynn Frey of Rochester, a son Dale Frey, three grandchildren Bailey and Kennedy Mollenkopf and Kayla Frey, his mother Edith Collins of Marion, two brothers Emmel Frey of Marion, Larry Frey of Rochester, two sisters Elaine (Ronald) Lasecki of Mcallen TX, Marsha (Roger) Ver Plank of Marion.
