Rochester---After a hard fought battle with cancer, passed away January 3, 2015 at the age of 56 He was a retired Sgt from the Monroe County Sheriff Dept. David is lovingly remembered by his wife Karen, daughter Jessica and son-in-law Joe Surace; granddaughter Jessie Mae and grandson Paul David Surace; mother-in-law Barbara Farnsworth, Joe and Cheryl DeLuca, David and Sharon Appleton, and many other relatives and friends. Friends are invited to call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday (Jan.8^th) at the Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 and Long Pond Road), Rochester, New York. Funeral services are private with burial in the Port Gibson Cemetery. Memorials in his memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 1120 S. Goodman St. Rochester, N.Y. 14620
