Newark –Deborah M. Edwards , 54, died Wednesday (December 9, 2009) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

          Friends may call from 2-4 P.M. on Saturday (December 12th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark.  Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Sunday, December 13th at the funeral home with Rev. William Hoffman officiating.  Burial will be in Newark Cemetery

          Memorials in her name may be made to the American Heart Association, 3500 Winton Place, Rochester, New York 14623.     

          Mrs. Edwards was born in Newark on February 19, 1955, the daughter of William and Frances Cameron McMillin.  She was a life-long resident of Newark and graduated from the Marion S. Whelan School of Nursing in Geneva. She had worked at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and for many years at the Newark Manor Nursing Home.

Deborah  is survived by her husband of 37 years, Timothy, a daughter Dawn (Mark) Maltman of Palmyra, a granddaughter Saige, three sisters Sandra (Gene) Hamelynck of Newark, Bonnie (Gerald) Hamelynck of Palmyra, Kelli McMillin of Newark and a brother Gary (Sharon) McMillin of Clifton Springs, several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her father in 1997 and her mother on January 25, 2009.
