Diane M. Young (Hawman)

Lyons---Diane M. Young, 64,Peacefully passed Thursday, October 6th 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Details will be released to family and friends

Diane lived each day to the fullest, her compassion for others (human & animal) led her to help and encourage so many.

She worked harder than anyone we have ever met, her energy and enthusiasm was infectious and before you knew it you would have a shovel or a paint brush in your hand just trying to keep up with her!

As the Owner and Designer for her business Landscape Design Co. she thrived on designing and building dream outdoor spaces for her wonderful clients and their families to enjoy!

She also used her talents in her own community painting amazing backdrops for school plays, murals at local businesses, designing useful spaces like parks and church entrances, beautifying the community one property at a time!

In her spare time, she worked endlessly renovating and reviving homes with her husband and daughters.  She appreciated the history held in a house and wanted to preserve that for future generations.

She did everything with love, from rescuing animals in need, including her own rescue pup, Max (we call her the dog whisperer), employing and housing those in need, giving free business advice to family and friends, baking amazing cakes and desserts, cooking delicious meals and sharing the food, to checking the weather forecast and letting you know when it is safe to travel to see her and always with a follow up text to make sure you arrived back home safely.

She will be missed dearly by her loving husband Richard Young, her two daughters Jacqueline Young (Adam Bardo) and Andrea (Young) Haskins (David Haskins), Siblings: Debra Ford, John Hawman, Nancy McGreevy, Steve Hawman and many cousins, nieces / nephews, their families, her friends, co-workers and especially her trusty companion Max and the kitties.

In Memory of Diane please plant a tree or shrub in your yard, rescue an animal in need, adopt a shelter pet, or donate to tnbcfoundation.org
