Newark ---Donna B. McCue, 81, died on Tuesday (November 2, 2004) at the House of John in Clifton Springs.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Saturday (Nov. 6th) at the Park Presbyterian Church, Maple Court, Newark, New York with a reception following in the church hall.

Memorials in her name may be made to the House of John, 12 Spring Street, Clifton Springs, New York 14432 or Wayne County Hospice, 1120 South Main Street, Newark, New York 14513.

Mrs. McCue was born on December 25, 1922, in Rochester, the daughter of Verner and Sally Monje Burns. Donna was a secretary at Lincoln School for over eighteen years, retiring in 1985. Before moving to Newark and raising her family, she had worked at Kodak in Rochester. She was a member of the Park Presbyterian Church. Donna had served on the Alex Eligh Community Center Board of Directors. For many years, she volunteered at the Red Cross Blood Banks and the House of John.

Donna is survived by her husband of 45 years, John R. McCue, sons Lance Monje of Orange, Ct., Scott (Audrey) Monje of Terrytown, NY, Sean (Theresa) McCue of Newark, a daughter-in-law Joyce Monje of Canandaigua, six grandchildren Michelle Monje, Erin Monje, Brett Monje, Patricia Monje, Sarah McCue and Thomas McCue.

She was predeceased by a husband Francis Monje in 1958, her father Verner Burns and her mother Sally Burns Reese, two sons Stuart Monje in 1990 and Steven in 1997.
