Newark---Donna Marie lati, age 69, of Newark NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Thursday, September 26th after a very courageous battle with breast cancer.
Friends may call from 4 pm to 7 pm, Tuesday, October 1st, at Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home in Newark, NY, 127 E. Miller St., Newark, NY. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Palmyra, Cemetery.

Donna was born in Rochester, NY on October 31, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Dominick Manioci and Coral Mulvihill. She graduated from East High, the class of 1972. In 1978, Donna married the love of her life, James Steven lati and raised a family of three daughters with him. Over the years she worked at the Beef Steak Mining Co. and Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES - NEC location.
Donna was blessed to live her final years with her youngest daughter Jacqueline Iati, (David Crosby) and her family.
Donna would like to extend her heartfelt love and thanks to her special friend Darlene Enderlin and her BOCES Family (Elise, Amy, Kristin, Jolene, Nick Q, Jen G, Deb L, Nurse Cindy and Nurse Nichole) as she couldn't have fought this battle without each of you. Special thanks to Dr. Ignaczak and the nurses and staff in the Oncology Deptartment at Lipson Cancer Center, Clifton Springs Hospital, for their special care given and the staff at The Advent House for their comfort care.
Donna is survived by three daughters, Donna (Jason) Carnevale, Karen (Brian) Quill, and Jacqueline (David Crosby) Iati. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Addison Gremli, Alexandra Carnevale, Samuel Gremli, Nicholas Carnevale, Lindsay Miller Jr, Lainey Lowe, Sadie Miller, Abrielle Kemp, Nova Kemp, Collin Quill, Jocelyn Garcia, and Ayla Quill. She is also survived by three sisters, Carole Gagliano, Patricia Hall, and Joan Gordon and one brother, Alan Manioci.
She was predeceased by her husband, James, sister, Susan Fenlon and her parents, Dominick and Coral.
