Sodus/Wolcott"Edith Laird, 70, died Saturday (January 12, 2008) at the Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family

Mrs. Laird was born on September 13, 1937 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Emery and Sarah Blankley Laird. She had worked at Curtis-Burns for many years.

She is survived by two sons Mitchell of North Rose and Colin of Wolcott, eleven siblings Mary Ritz of PA, Mable Wheeler of Sodus, Myrtle Hilsinger of Newark, Joanne Benett of Sodus Point, Sharon Swan of Shortsville, Twilla Parker of Newark, Niaomi Ritz of Victor, Dorothy Jackson of Rochester, Anna Kopec of Fl, Mark Smith of Lyons and Virginia Hickey of Port Byron, as well as grandchildren, nieces and nephews
