Newark—Edwin Rodriguez, 50, entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2024. 

Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St. in Newark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Friday, Sept 20th at St. Michael Church, 401 S. Main St. Newark, NY. Burial will follow at East Newark Cemetery.

Memorials in his name may be made to Wayne Behavioral Health Network, for Mental Health 1519 Nye Rd., Lyons, NY 14489.

Edwin was born in Newark, on March 26, 1974, the son of Eugenio and Bernarda Oquendo Rodriguez. He was a graduate of Newark Senior High School. He was proud of his Puerto Rican heritage. He Loved fishing. Edwin was a staunch Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed his career as a truck driver.

 He is survived by his loving children Akron Lee Rodriguez, Ciara and Anthony; his mother Bernarda Rodriguez; his brother Gerard Williams; his girl Shannon Deppen; her parents; his best friend Gregg Wolf; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
