Newark, NY—Federico Colon, 95, died on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. 

A funeral service will be held n Anasco, Puerto Rico. Local services will be held here at a later date.

Mr. Colon was born July 18, 1929, in the Dominican Republic. He worked as a Custodian for Mobil Chemical in Newark, NY. 

Mr. Colon is survived by four daughters, Maribel Colon, Vilma (Gary) Rivera, Nydia (John) Russum, Ivette (Darin) Fuller; two sons, Flavio (Debrah) Colon, Julio (Amy) Colon; several brothers; one sister; fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
