Florence DeClark

Newark—Florence DeClark, 94, died Monday February 28, 2011 at the Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus.

          Friends may call from 12:00 to2:00 P.M. Thursday (March 3rd) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark.   A funeral service will follow at 2 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Roger Smith, officiating.  Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery

          Memorials in her name may be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 189, Newark, New York 14513.

          Mrs. DeClark was born July 30, 1916, in the Town of Arcadia the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Ameele Fisher.  She was a life-long member of the First United Methodist Church.  Florence had been a member and past Matron of the Amitie Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

          She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence in 2007; two sisters Glenna Franks and Marjorie Gambill.  Florence is survived by several nieces and nephews.
