Newark---Florence R. Fish, 59, passed away on Thursday (April 23, 2009) at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.

Friends may call on Tuesday (Apr. 28th) from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St., Newark, NY . Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday (Apr. 29th) at 9:30 A.M. Burial will be in Ridge Chapel Cemetery in Williamson.

Mrs. Fish was born on February 12, 1950, in Williamson, the daughter of Donald and Josephine Slocum Craig. She worked for the Newark School District in the cafeteria. Florence was a member of the Palmyra V.F.W. Post 6778 Women's Auxiliary and the Palmyra Moose Club. Along with her husband Joe, she served as an Auxiliary Police Officer for the Williamson Police Department. She was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Newark.

Florence is survived by her father Donald (Doris) Craig of Palmyra, four sons Jonathon of Palmyra, Sheldon of Newark, Shawn (Jeanie) of Newark and Travis of Newark, four grandchildren, three brothers Lee (Kathy), Robert (Connie) and Gene (Diane) Craig, her dear friend Gladys Tack. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2006, a daughter Kaldonia Rose Marie, her mother Josephine Craig and a brother Dwayne Craig.
