Newark—Georgina A. Gonzalez, 75, died Wednesday (August 31, 2011) at the Clifton Springs Hospital.

            Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Friday (September 2^nd) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday (Sept. 3^rd) at St. Michael’s Church, South Main Street, Newark. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

            Mrs. Gonzalez was born April 23, 1936 in Anasco, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the Nestor and Aurea Rodriquez Arroyo.  She had worked at C. H. Stuart, Inc. in the jewelry manufacturing.        Georgina was a communicant of St. Michael Church. 

            She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gilberto; her children Gilbert (Ivette) of Newark, William (Esperanza of Imperial, CA, Myriam Gonzalez of Newark and Aida (William) Rogers of Davenport; 8 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; her mother Aurea Arroyo of West New York, NJ; two brothers German Arroyo of West New York, NJ, Hector Arroyo of Lodi, NJ and a sister Nieves Sanchez of West New York, NJ .
