Newark"Gertrude Bailey, 94 of South Main Street, died Wednesday (November 3, 2004) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside funeral service at 11 A.M., on Saturday (Nov. 13th) in the Newark Cemetery.

Memorials in her name may be made to ones favorite charity.

Mrs. Bailey was born on December 8, 1909 in Marion, New York the daughter of the late Jacob and Gertrude Bodine Stockman. She was a graduate of Newark High School and resided in Newark before moving to Largo, Florida for twenty years, returning to Newark in 2000.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Fritz and Marsha Bailey of Plymouth, Ma., nine grandchildren Thomas, Jay, Jeffrey and James Thomson, Trudi MacBride, Michael, Steven, Jon Bailey and Kristen Madden; 18 great grandchildren.

. Mrs. Bailey was predeceased by her husband Frederic in 1993, a daughter Diane Thomson in 1996, a son David Bailey in 1970, three brothers and two sisters.
