Newark—Genevieve DeMaria, 88, died Thursday (September 3, 2009) at the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, New York.

          Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday (September 5, 2009) at the Newark Cemetery.

          Genevieve was born February 19, 1921 in Newark, the daughter of Frank and Anna Reed.  She had retired from Kodak in Rochester where she had worked for several years.

          She is survived by a brother James Reed of Rochester and a sister Pauline Hudson of North Carolina, several nieces and nephews.
