Newark ---Harry Weaver, 82, of South Main Street, died Saturday (May 21, 2005) at Rochester General Hospital.
Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Tuesday (May 24th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Elks visitation at 7:30 PM on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. on Wednesday (May 25th) at St. Michael's Church, South Main Street, Newark with the Father Peter Clifford. officiating. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

Mr. Weaver was born February 11, 1923, in Manchester, New York, the son of Joseph and Mary Demchek Weaver. He was a carpenter and a member of the Carpenters Union Hall # 85 in Rochester for 58 years. Harry was a life member of the Newark Elks Lodge and a member of the August Mauer Post of the American Legion. He served in the US Army during World War II, stationed in Guadalcanal and Luzon for two years.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Martha, sons Gary (Janis) Weaver of Livonia and Mark (Patricia) Weaver of Newark, four grandchildren Aaron (Michelle), John, Katie Weaver and Jessica (Todd) Wojtalewski, two great grandchildren Marissa Weaver and Evan Wojtalewski; brothers Thomas of Palmyra and William of Canandaigua and sister Helen Stiggins of Canandaigua.
