Newark" F. Irene (Renee) Bremer, 80, died Thursday (November 29, 2007) at the House of John in Clifton Springs.
Friends may call on Friday (November 30th) from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday (December 1st) at St. Michael's Church, 325 South Main Street, Newark. Burial will follow at Newark Cemetery.

Mrs. Bremer was born on June 11, 1927 in Shortsville, New York, the daughter of David and Marie Bement Williams. She was a member of St. Michael's Church and active with Martha's Ministry. For many years, Renee was a caterer with Sarah Coventry and the Wayne County ARC. She also had been a cook for several priests at St. Michael's Rectory in Newark.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon (David) San Angelo, five sons Robert D. (J. Francine), Stephen (Kathleen), Kenneth (Kim R.), John (Melinda "Mindy") and Thomas (Robbin) all of Newark; 16 grandchildren Shelley, David M., Amy, Gretchen, Benjamin, Julia, Lisa, Kelsey, Colleen, Shane, Kayleigh, Kristin, Ashley, Brian, Keith and Gregory; five great grandchildren Alexandria, Hailey, Freddy, Owen and Ryan; a sister Dolores Ferguson, three brothers Robert (Norma) Williams of Palmyra, Harry (Bev) Williams of Manchester, Jim Williams of Lyons, several nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her husband Robert C. in 1996, six siblings David, Jackie, Ronald, Geraldine, Arthur and Joan.
