James M. Ide, Sr.

Newark"James M. Ide, Sr., 67, died at Wednesday (September 6, 2006) at his home on Austin Road.

Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Friday (September 8th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral Services will be at 11 AM on Saturday (September 9th) at the funeral home with the Rev. Gerry Harris, officiating.

Mr. Ide was born on November 1, 1938, in Rochester, the son of Merton "Jake" and Alida Lake Ide. He was an inspector at Xerox, where he had worked for 32 years, retiring in 1998.

Jim is survived by Loving Friend Linda Tellier, son James Jr. of Port Orchard, WA, daughters Lorrie D'Amato of Newark, Jackie Ide of East Rochester, Nancy Ide of Newark; his extended family Teresa Fore of Marion, Lisa Tellier of Williamson, Marcie Tellier of Marion, Jason Tellier of Ontario, Randy Tellier of Macedon; twenty grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother Irving "Tom" (Kathy) Ide of Marion, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Joan Sackett.
