Newark---Janet M. Hause, 83, died on Thursday (March 5, 2009) at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Friends may call on Sunday (March 8th) from 2-6 P.M. at the Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 A.M. on Monday (Mar. 9th) at St. Michael Church, 401 S. Main St., Newark NY with Father Felix Dalimpuo officiating. Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery.

Mrs. Hause was born on November 19, 1925 in Newark, the youngest daughter of Ross and Helen "Nell" Grieve Warner. She was a graduate of Rochester Business Institute with a degree in business and accounting. She was a long time employee in the accounting department of Fold-Pac. Janet was a life-long communicant of St. Michael's Church where she was an active volunteer in many church activities. She had volunteered with the Newark Food Closet, was a girl scout leader, and member of the Arcadia Senior Citizens. Janet was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother.

She is survived by five daughters, Sharon (Daniel) Brooks of Marion, Nancy Rohlin, Rebecca (David) Wahl, Marcia (Gene) Palermo and Gail (James) O'Brien all of Newark; 14 grandchildren Lisa (Rich) Crego, Andrew Brooks, Todd (Julie) Rohlin, Trevor Rohlin, Travis Rohlin, Katrina (Matt) Lester, Joseph Wahl, Allison (Benjamin) Williams, Carrie (Jason) Littlefield, Nicholas Palermo, Heather (Barry) Briggs, Adam Dutko, Chaston Brightman and Kellyn Brightman; 9 great grandchildren, two sisters Martha Jane Bain of Palmyra and Carol Miller of Lyons; a sister-in-law June Hause Avery of Geneva, many nieces and nephews. Janet was predeceased by her husband William in 1996, daughter Priscilla Dutko in 1995, two grandchildren Tim and Jennifer Brooks, and son-in-law Ron Rohlin
