Newark –Jeanette M. DeBout, 98, died peacefully with her family by her side on Monday (September 7, 2010) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

          Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

          Mrs. DeBout was born in Holland in 1911, the daughter of Peter and Johanna Gueran DeWispelaere.  She is survived by her daughters Marlene (Wayne) Williams and Joan (Lloyd) Knapp, five grandchildren Andrea (Christopher) Cornett, Christine (Jeffrey) Kyles,  Todd (Kimberlee) Knapp, Scott (Dawn) Knapp, Amy Knapp; nine great grandchildren Alissa, Cassandra, Evan and Allyah Knapp, Adriana Wagner, Alexander and Ashley Cornett, Maya and Jaden Kyles; sister-in-law Elnora Childress and Brother-in-law Ronald Ford; several nieces and nephews.  Jeanette was predeceased by her husband Paul DeBout in October 2000, four brothers John, Anthony, Peter and Joseph DeWispelaere and six sisters Sarah Buerman, Jane Scheerens, Clara Scheerens, Johann Tierson, Jennie Townley and Madolyn Tierson.
