Palmyra/Newark—Jessica Sapp, 40, died Sunday (April 8, 2018) at the Roswell Cancer Center in Buffalo.

Friends may call Wednesday (April 11) from 6-8 PM and on Thursday (April 12^th) from 2-4 PM at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark, NY where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday (April 13^th). Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Lyons. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 South Goodman Street, Rochester, New York 14620.

Jessica was born on July 15, 1977 in Rome, New York, the daughter of Stephen and Joan Kelly Schrier. She was a 1995 graduate of Wayne Central High School and received an associate degree in child behavior from the Finger Lakes Community College. Jessica has been working for the Finger Lakes DDSO at group home in Canandaigua.

Jessica is survived by husband Joseph Sapp; her children Anthony Prince, Joseph Bernunzio, Ryan Hood and a step-daughter Emily Sapp all of Palmyra.; her mother Joan (Paul) Winder of Lyons and father Stephen Schrier of Hampton Falls, NH; a sister Jennifer (Rick) Chapman of E. Rochester; many aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews and good friends.
