John F. Bilotta
Newark –John F. Bilotta, 67, died Monday (March 22, 2010) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
Friends may call from 2- 4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday (March 25th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St., Newark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Friday (March 26th) at St. Michael’s Church, South Main Street, Newark. Burial will be in the Newark Cemetery.
Memorials in his name may be made to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, New York 14489.
Mr. Bilotta was born in Newark on September 7, 1942, the son of John and Maxine Cornell Bilotta. John was a local entrepreneur running several businesses for over 45 years. He was also known as a benefactor and supporter of many community, youth and school groups in the Wayne County Area.
He is survived by his children Megan Bilotta and Christopher Damick, a grandson Joseph Damick all of Victor; sisters Patricia Button of Syracuse and Louise “Labby” Steingass of Newark; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Sally Bilotta.
