John O. Emper

Newark"John O. Emper, 64, died Tuesday (Dec. 20, 2005) at his home.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Thursday (Dec. 22nd) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark, New York. Father Peter Clifford will offer a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Friday (Dec. 23rd) at St. Michael's Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to John's family at 137 Lea Drive, Newark, New York 14513.

Mr. Emper was born on May 2, 1941 in Camden, New York, the son of O'Neil and Dorothy Teelin Emper. After graduating from Newark High School in 1960, John served with the US Army. For many years he was a supervisor with Con-Rail retiring on disability in 1984. John was a member of both the Newark Rod and Gun Club and the Lyons Rod and Gun Club

He is survived by his wife Judith Lopez Emper, two sons Christopher and Matthew Emper both of West Allis Wi., a daughter Victoria (David) Gordner of Stanley, two grandchildren Bart and Annika Martin, a half brother Jeff Perkins of Waterloo.
