Newark"Joseph R. Fish, 62, died Sunday (July 9, 2006) at Samaritan Hospital, Watertown.

Friends may call on Wednesday (July 12th) from 6 " 8 PM at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be 9:30 AM on Thursday (July 13th) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Chapel Cemetery, Williamson.

Mr. Fish was born on April 20, 1944 in Westville, New York, the son of Charles and Ola Gratton Fish. He had work at the Pittsford School District and Spinco and retired from Town Line Machine Shop in Clifton Springs. Joe served with the Army in Viet Nam and was a life member of the Palmyra VFW. He drove for the Disabled Veterans at the Canandaigua Veterans Hospital. He was a member of St. Michael's Church.

He is survived by his wife Florence, sons Johathon of Lyons, Sheldon (Kristen) of Newark, Shawn (Jeanie) of Winchester, Va. and Travis of Newark, four grandchildren, brothers Alvin (Sue Ann) of Lyons, Leroy (Diane) of Mariah, N. Y. and Alexander (Lorna) of LA, father-in-law Donald Craig (Doris) of Palmyra, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Calodonia
