Rochester/Newark---June Wagemaker, 90, Liberty Center, MI, passed away on Thursday (May 7, 2009) at her home with loving family by her side.

Friends may call from 9- 11 AM on Thursday (May 14th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark, New York. Funeral services will be at 11 AM at the funeral home with burial following in East Newark Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested, in June's name, to the Disabled American Veterans.

June was born January 13, 1919, in Rochester to the late Cornelius and Mildred F. Waltz Cornelius. She was a legal secretary in the State of New York for many years. An avid gardener, she also enjoyed doing crafts and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wagemaker. June is survived by a son Gerald Wagemaker, St. Joseph, MI; grandsons Scott (Letty) Wagemaker, Liberty Center and Dana Wagemaker, Eau Claire, MI; and great grandchildren, Heather and Jacob Wagemaker.
