Karen Freeman

 North Rose--Karen Wilber Freeman passed away June 22, 2013, after losing her battle with leukemia. A Memorial service is planned for Saturday, July 6^th. At 2pm at the New Hope Church in North Rose. Karen was born August 10, 1961 the daughter of Robert and Phyllis Wilber. She graduated from Elmira Free Academy in 1979. She attended Corning Community College where she studied nursing. Karen worked at Myers Community Hospital in Sodus and Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton. She had been working at Rochester General Hospital as a Registered Nurse until July 2012. Karen is survived by her loving husband Dennis of North Rose, son Andrew (Colleen) of Sodus; daughter Susie Freeman of Sodus ; grand daughter Amara of Sodus and sister Connie (Rick) Mullens of Raleigh NC. She was predeceased by her parents and a son Kevin in 2011.
