Newark " Karl Jaynes, 63, died Monday (September 15, 2008) at Rochester General Hospital

Friends may call from 4-6 PM Thursday (Sept 18th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark. Funeral services will follow at 6PM at the funeral home. Chaplin Herb Wagner will officiate.

Mr. Jaynes was born on September 5, 1945, in Honeoye Falls the son of Paul and Doris Reed Jaynes. Karl served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He attended the University of Illinois and Monroe Community College. Mr. Jaynes worked at Trison Engineering in Honeoye Falls as an IT Systems Developer. He had been a member of the American Legion. Karl enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years Joanne his sons Steven of Canandaigua and Shane (Sarah) of Phelps, daughter Carrie Lochman of Newark, brothers Charles of Florida and Rev. Ronald (Colleen) of California, sisters Patricia Heckmen of Cheshire, NY and Devaureux (Richard) Russell of PennYan, five grandchildren Samantha, Elizabeth, Tyler, Noah and soon to be Ashton, several nieces and nephews and many friends of Bill W.
