Kathleen "Kay" Mc Nally
Newark"Kathleen McNally, of East Union St., died Monday (July 11, 2005) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.
Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Thursday (July 14th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Dillon at 10 AM on Friday (July 15th) at St. Michael's Church, South Main Street, Newark. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
Memorials in her name may be made to the St. Michael's Church, 401 South Main Street, Newark, New York 14513.
Mrs. McNally was born in New York City the daughter of Michael and Katie McGuire King. She retired from NY Telephone in 1975 and moved to Newark in 1976. Kathleen was a communicant of St. Michael's Church and a member of the Rosary and Altar Society, the Arcadia Senior Citizens Association and R.S.V.P.. For many years, Mrs. McNally volunteered at the Free Lunch Program at the United Emmanuel Church.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (Kenneth) MacFadden of Newark, four grandchildren Vincent (Missy) MacFadden, Matthew (DeAnna) MacFadden, Kerilyn (Daniel) Scoville and Micheal MacFadden; 4 great grandchildren; three nieces Rita and Gail Farrelly, and Roberta (Peter) Fugazzi; a nephew James (Liz) Farrelly. Kay was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1962, two sisters Nancy Martin, Rita Farrelly and a brother Michael King.
