Lyons/Newark"Kathy Thompson, 60, of Ross Road, Lyons, died on Sunday (August 7, 2005) at her home.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Tuesday (Aug. 9th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be Wednesday (Aug. 10th) at 11 AM at the Maranatha Baptist Church, 8721 Travell Road Lyons. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery.

Memorials in her name may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Canandaigua on April 2, 1945, the daughter of Lewis and Katherine Norson Randall. She had worked at I.E.C. in Newark for several years. Kathy was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Lyons.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William "Tommy", her children William (Becky) of Fort Lauderdale, Fl, Laurie (Jeff) Maestre of Lyons, Scott (Katie) of Lock Berlin, a stepson Michael Thompson of Fort Lauderdale, five grandchildren Brett, Jacob, Sarah and Megan Thompson and Jeb Mables; a brother Lewis Randall of Canandaigua, a sister Ellen Kay (Rheul) Hibbard of Canandaigua.
