Newark ---Kenneth R. Burdick, 85, formerly of Penn Yan-Branchport area, died Wednesday (April 20, 2005) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

Friends may call from 12- 1 PM on Tuesday (Apr. 26th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will follow the calling hours at 1 PM with the Rev. Timothy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Port Gibson Cemetery.

Mr. Burdick was born February 3, 1920, in Branchport, New York the son of Charles and Margaret Babel Burdick. He had been a bus driver in Penn Yan before his retirement. Ken served with the Navy during World War II.

He is predeceased by a son Kenneth Jr. and a good friend Margaret Molina. Ken is survived by good friends including Kathy and Cliff DeCann.
