L.K. "Casey" Estes
Newark"L. K. Estes, 74, died Wednesday (February 21, 2007) after a long illness.
A Memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday (February 24th) at the Kingdom Hall of the Newark Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Mr. Estes was born December 31, 1932 in Gamaliel, Arkansas the son of Lehman and Dona Carroll Estes. He grew up in Gainesville, Missouri, living in several places before settling in Newark in 1965. L.K. was an ironworker for Local Union 33 in Rochester retiring in 1990. An Army veteran, Casey served in Germany during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the August Mauer Post 286, American Legion. He was a member of the Newark Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He and Barbara would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 13th.
L.K. is survived by his wife of Barbara, a son Larry of Lyons, five daughters Joyce (Craig) Stowell of Massena, Diane (Patrick) Hartnett of Syracuse, Hope (Todd) Monje of Newark, Patricia (Ronald) Ramph of Zebulon, NC, and Jennifer Ledger of Merritt Island, Fl.; ten grandchildren Aimee (Don) Riggs, Seann and Katie Hartnett, Elyse and Terry Monje, Kalya (Tony) Wakefield, MacKenzie and Jourdan Ramph, James and Casey Ledger; three great granddaughters McKenna Wakefield, Taylor and Rylee Riggs; one of eighteen children, he is survived by ten brothers and sisters.
