Palmyra---Larry Cowell, 61, died Thursday (March 15, 2007), at his home in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

Funeral Services will be at 11 A.M. on Saturday (March 24th) at the Zion Episcopal Church, 120 East Main St. Palmyra, with Rev. Dan Pope, officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Mr. Cowell was born on December 17, 1941 in Rochester, the son of Elman and Alice Mae DeVall Cowell. He retired in 2000, from Breen's Market in Palmyra where he was the produce manager. Larry was a graduate of the Pal-Mac High School, the class of 1964. He was a member of the Palmyra Volunteer Fire Department and served our country in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife Linda of Wake Forest, NC, children Michael (Cathy) Cowell of Marion, and Tracey (Francis) Braun of North Port Long Island, five grandchildren; Debbie and Marc Cowell, Mckaela, Fran and Dylan Braun, a brother Kirk (Charlene) Cowell of Palmyra, a niece and two nephews.
