Lawrence DeClark

Newark"Lawrence DeClark, 91, died Monday June 4, 2007) at the DeMay Living Center.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, South Main Street, Newark at 11 AM on Friday June 8, 2007 with Rev Roger Smith officating. Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery.

Mr. DeClark was born in Clifton Springs, on December 21, 1915 the son of Edward and Barbara Yhonkers DeClark. For many years he was a machine operator and a foreman with the Town of Arcadia Highway Department. In his retirement, he operated a ceramics business with his wife. Lawrence was a 52 year member of the First United Methodist Church and a life member of the Newark Masonic Lodge #83.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Florence Fisher DeClark, several nieces and nephews.
