 Newark—Leona W. Plyter, 73, died peacefully and of natural causes on Tuesday (October 4, 2016), surrounded by her beloved family.

 There will be a private gathering for immediate family members celebrating her life.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to a breast cancer charity of your choice or the American Heart Association.

 Leona was born on August 17, 1943 in Sodus. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and any moments she could share with her family.

 She is surived by her daughters Lisa (Tim) Graf of Palmyra and Darci (Mike) Camacho of Newark; a son Daniel (Susan) Plyter of Evanston, IL. Leona is also survived by her adored grandchildren Megan, Nick, Trevor, Kylee, Will and Marin; as well as her brother Richard (Meg) Warren of Canandaigua; many nieces, nephews and many close friends.

 The family says, “The love that Mom shared with us will be shared with many generations to come”.
