Newark—Lisa Medore Burley, 42, died on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Newark Wayne Community Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 18^th from 4 to 8 PM at Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, November 19^th at St. Michael Church, Phelps and Holley St. in Lyons, NY. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name, may be made to the Newark Public Library, 121 High St., Newark, NY 14513.

Lisa was born in Rochester, NY on January 12, 1979, the daughter of Eric and Karen Collins Medoro. She was a graduate of Newark Senior High School, Class of 1997. For the past eleven years she worked for Lyons National Bank where becoming the Asst. Branch Manager in Newark. Customers loved her and her co-workers could always count on her problem solving skills. Lisa was the secretary and a trustee for the Newark Public Library. As a mother to four boys, she dedicated her life to them and all of their various sports and activities.

She is survived by her four sons Kody DeSain, Dylan Burley, Ty Burley, and Evan Burley all of Newark; husband James Burley of Newark; mother Karen Collins Medoro of Newark; father Eric Medoro of Ft. Lauderdale; a brother Jason Medoro of Newark; her dog Buster; nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins; many close friends.
