Louise M. Ruffalo
Newark—Louise Marie Ruffalo, 79, died Thursday (August 6, 2009) at her home.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. on Sunday (August 9th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10A.M. on Monday (August 10th) at St. Michael’s Church, South Main Street, Newark. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

Mrs. Ruffalo was born on January 18, 1930, in Lyons, the daughter of Joseph and Filomena D’Amato Ticconi. She was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church. Louise had been a waitress in several area restaurants as well as in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She had also been a warehouse supervisor for both Sarah Covertry and Kodak Battery. Louise loved family gatherings, boating and traveling with her family
She survived by a son Samuel Jr. (Lucinda) of Newark, two daughters Sandra (Mike Renzi) Ruffalo of Newark, Tina Louise (Shane Palermo) Lefever of Palmyra, close friend Daniel DeJohn of Newark, nine grandchildren Tonya, Jesse, Ambyr, Robert, Russell, Samantha, Michael, Adrianna and Taylor; seven great grandchildren Kashae, Jake, Diamond, EZ, Brady, Connor and Lindsay; two brothers Arthur Ticconi of Waterloo, Ralph (Betsy) Ticconi of Seneca Falls, three sisters Rose Hiller of Newark, Virginia Tricarico of Lyons and Pauline Ticconi of Lyons, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel R. in 2001, a son-in-law Mike Lefever, and ten siblings.
