Newark"Madeline M. Collins, 95, died Tuesday (March 10, 2009) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Thursday (March 12th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Father Felix Dalimpus will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Friday (March 13th) at St. Michael's Church, South Main Street, Newark. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

Memorials in her memory may be made to Wayne County Nursing Home Activities Fund, 1529 Nye Road, Lyons, New York 14489 or to a charity of one's choice.

Mrs. Collins was born on January 13, 1914, in Newark the daughter of Frank and Mary Synesael Wiebeld. She was a lifelong resident of Newark and communicant of St. Michael's Church. She was an attendant at Newark Development Center retiring in 1980.

She is survived by her children Patricia DeJohn of Newark, David (Nancy) Collins of Newark, Catherine Nolan of Toms River, NJ, Mary Charlebois of Newark, Steven (Tracy) Collins of Rochester, Karen Medoro of Newark, Susan (Daniel) Bailey of Newark; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, a sister Shirley Moriarty of Rochester, several nieces and nephews. Madeline was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1967, siblings Joseph and James Wiebeld and Lucille Dyson.
