Newark—Margaret Scutella, 84, died Tuesday (September 2, 2014) on route home after attending the wedding of her grandson in Denver, Colorado.
Friends may call from4-7 P.M. on Thursday (September 18^th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark where funeral services will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Friday (Septembr 19^th). Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

Mrs. Scutella was born on November 20, 1929 in Williamson where she graduated from High School. She worked many years for the Newark Florist and retired from the Newark Manor Nursing where she was an aide for seven years.

She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline (Mark) VanHalle of Newark and a son Clifford (Sue) of Brockport;six grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Eva Shears; husband Nicholas; a daughter Patricia Weed and a sister Evelyn DeToye
